Michigan has these radio spots imploring people to get outside and take in the fall colors. I don't know if they work or not, but it makes me want to jump in the car. Having grown up with colors each autumn and then experienced life without them for two years, I think everybody who lives in the fall color region should be required to take a perfectly sunny fall day and be happy to live in the north.
