Where does the time go? I meant to blog about Rent at WAHS on Saturday after the show. Instead we went out for small plates at trendy Grille 3501 that night, spent Sunday working on odd jobs and taking in our alma maters' sporting events, and that was the weekend. About the musical first: the arts academies at William Allen always produce some amazing performances and this was no different. I have seen the Broadway version - on Broadway! - and comparisons would not be ludicrous.
The early week has been a blur of this and that around the house, and two consecutive nights of me beating Jenelle home. Tonight was a P&R meeting and tomorrow is the first day of Jenelle's Easter-based spring break. The weather is supposed to be excellent and we're cooking up a trip to NYC to check out the High Line, buy a(nother) jar of McClure's pickles, get a great burger, scout some trendy Manhattan flea markets, and enjoy a day in Gotham. We haven't been since October and I'm eager to get back.
Halfway around the world, Gram is on VofJ in Bounty Bay off Pitcairn Island. Fantastically, identically opposite NYC in every way.
