There's nothing better on a sunny Saturday than putting on some tunes and having a day out: yesterday was Bruce on the way to Philadelphia by way of Chestnut Hill. We wanted to see South Street in its prime and I think we did... though we also visited the Italian market - buccatini! - and walked all the way up Second St to see the shoppes. Along the way we found a building covered entirely in tiny bits of glass and briefly became part of the annual 'Yes we CANnabis!' march. We had thai for dinner at a low-key sidewalk place, and despite sweating all day in the blazing sun I discovered that there were parts of my face that could get redder. As we headed back to the car the neighborhood was shoulder-to-shoulder packed with folks just like us out and about on a summery Saturday night.

It was kind of a long week for Jenelle and I both, though neither of us is sure why. I played hoops twice and had a P&R meeting, which fairly well fills the evenings. Two late-night hockey games also meant that I wasn't very rested for a dazzling Friday, so we went for a walk at Fish Hatchery and had pizza at BrewWorks.
