A very busy few days: a weekend trip to Michigan for the memorial service of a relative and family-visiting, then two quick days at home and the family-visiting has begun anew at our place. The trip to SE MI is growing as familiar to us as we'd like to let a 560-mile trek become. It is important to be able to get there, but at the same time we were happy to be back in the valley Sunday evening with cats and relaxing. Summer sports season is in full swing but I'm not getting much of a rhythm going due to rainy Wednesdays (volleyball) and busy Thursdays (basketball then ultimate). The weather finally feels like it might break into full-fledged summer and we're booked to be camping in Maryland Memorial Day weekend to enjoy it.
