It was a productive day: we painted & installed the rain barrel that our local water authority provided gratis and are now awaiting rain to fill it, we did some errands, we explored the heck out of Emmaus' art/shoppe open house on Main Street, we prepped for a picnic with friends tomorrow, and we managed to stay in the dark about the World Cup match all day and watch it in the evening.
The week flew but for reasons unknown. Wednesday's volleyball was rained out, but Thursday's frisbee was full tilt. Jenelle's been working end-of-the-year hours and so we've been having later starts to our evenings. Friday evening started later, too, but it did so at one of her coworkers/cochaperones/friend's house and I joined the festivities after work. We hung out until the bugs showed up, which was plenty of time to laugh and have some dogs and win a game of rock bucket (yup, exactly what you think and just as ad hoc).
