It's my first night flying solo at home: CAD work for a deck project, litter boxes, clandestine yard-clipping disposal, and (leftover) Thai curry for dinner. No part of that screams "one down, twenty to go."

Jenelle's departure was unceremonious. I basically dropped her off a little before noon in a crowded parking lot with dozens of kids gathered around a bus. Her last day and a half at home weren't particularly glamorous, either: packing and more packing. Now, though, she's somewhere over the Atlantic aboard a Lufthansa flight for Frankfurt and three weeks of Germany. There's a trip blog to help follow along.
