Winding down a busy weekend and just getting home from dinner and basement-renovation tour (which was very humbling) with our neighbors, feeling sad that the weekend is over but pleased with what I accomplished and did. Friday night was mostly about errands and gearing up for a big day Saturday, which saw major progress in the basement in the form of a rolling workshop cart fashioned around some employee sale finds. I also cleaned up, sealed up, and painted up a couple of rust(!) spots on the Vibe. This was my first-ever auto body work and I've decided that might be a little fussy for me; the paint match wasn't great and my blending skills are sadly lacking. Fortunately rear glass covers most of it, but now my list for this week includes buying some OEM paint (darn you, AutoZone) and revisiting that job. I also watched two soccer games (sad for USA, glad for Germany) and found time for some feather-toy with cats.
