Today was another lazy weekend day, but it's cool. Actually it was extremely hot and that's part of the reason I was cool with not doing much. We went to this trendy new bakery in Emmaus - 'baked.' - for a light brunch. Then to the LMT library for a long time reading, browsing, and wondering why we don't go to the library more often. Back at home we had a caprese salad for lunch, lemon/lime spritzer, and making ice box cake. In the evening we went to Shannon & Ryan's temporary homestead in Macunge and took the cake for dessert. Fun to hang out and catch up on everybody's summer.
The week wasn't much to report: three nights of business travel and a fourth technically at home but completely consumed by flying home. Friday wasn't anything wild or crazy, but a fancy zucchini-sauce pasta dinner, a trip to Whitehall for shirts that got out of hand, a celebratory 'hey it is Friday and we're practically there already we should go to Sonic' ice cream stop, and a movie at home rang in the weekend just fine.
