I've settled nicely into a Sunday/Monday then Thursday blogging routine. Not sure what it is about ultimate frisbee but it puts me in a bloggin' kinda mood. It also puts me in a 'please huck that over the middle I'm begging you' kinda mood - Joe and Dennis were both recipients of my Kevin Koger impression tonight and I had a hat trick (three straight points) in one of the best runs I've had. Very ni-ice.

Jenelle's in MKE for mother-daughter bonding time/girls weekend. I'm riding solo once more but between frisbee, P&R, dodgy weather, and angry deck-railing-post-fitment-hating Gods I haven't gotten much done. It's nothing but doom and gloom on the P&R front. Why? Sure the economy is bad, but it hasn't stopped. Revenues shan't fall to zero-point-zero percent. Maybe parks aren't the top priority but things will get really bad if free recreation is taken away. Plus, how can people argue that the local economy is in the tank but local contractors are too busy to discount their labor rates? One side of the argument please. </Colbert grabby hand>

I seem to have developed a major crush (in a strictly platonic sort of way) on Information is Beautiful and the graphic data they've got displayed so fascinatingly. There's a great heat map of the most touristy places in the world (based on Panoramix image density) and another about the surface area required to power the world with solar panels, but my favorite is meta: an infographic about how to make a good infographic. Click for big.
