More picture-less posts when there really should be pictures...
Today we hiked Glen Onoko Run at Lehigh Gorge State Park. Turns out, Pennsylvania is Gorges, too. It was some of the best - and most vertical - rock hopping I've seen. The creek was so low that there was hardly enough water to make waterfalls but we stood under them anyway and felt very refreshed. It seems like we've under-utilized LGSP, but with Jim Thorpe (with Blue Ribbon pickles) and Mauch Chunk Lake at the south end it's hard to justify going further north.
Yesterday we hung out at home, digging six deep holes that are phase 1 of deck stairs. The garage got some play, too, with a new hanging organizer thingy that I made which completed a pretty useful re-arrangement. We also set to work eating tomatoes: caprese for lunch and bruschetta for dinner. There was so much of the latter that we never did make an entree, just bruschetta and port. Dinner of champions.
Friday night we hung out with some of my work friends at Ryan's and then at The Hut @ Krock's. It was fun and a gorgeous night to be sitting outside eating bar food and ice cream cake and carrying on.
