We started the weekend with six posts in the ground and good intentions. By the end of the day today we could walk from the deck to the ground, though in great peril and without any access to the deck itself at the top. There were a couple of 'oh boy' learning moments and I do believe we carried one long stringer to the saw about six times taking a little off the top here and there, but all in all I'm pleased and proud of progress. Railings should go up this week - if weather cooperates in the evenings - and then pictures.
We might have made more progress but there were a few holdups. Friday night was down in Philly for a night out with my best girl. Saturday morning was recovering from that and errands around town, which was so fun that we reprised it Sunday morning with a trip to Blue Sky to dodge the rain.
