I had the good fortune of heading over to Happy Valley to watch the Penn State/Michigan game on Saturday. Ryan's friends were nice enough to supply tailgating near the stadium, a place to crash after the game, and a ticket. We went over Saturday morning, were in the parking lot by 11:15, and over the next ~9 hours ate, drank, and wandered for the full night game experience. Then we went inside and were wowed by Michigan's dismal defense and one embarrassing (PSU) fan. Overall it was a great day, though, and I'd highly recommend Mount Nittany for any Big11/12Ten fan.

Friday night and Sunday afternoon were catch-up time at home. Friday we had Cali and I told Jenelle in excruciating detail about the clear flight in from GR: at one point I could see the skylines of both New York and Philadelphia, to say nothing of our house, places of employment, and favorite spots. Sunday we hung out at home mostly, but with an afternoon trip up to New Tripoli to return their ladder and get a tour of their new digs - very nice!

Today was back to the grind in the office, except that I skated a wee bit early for the doctor's office, which afforded enough daylight for a late season walk after work, a luxury even if it was in the low 40s.
