Friday afternoon at the end of a long week for no particular reason. It's dark as night after work these days, but that's OK for Bethlehem South Side First Friday Christmas edition. Jenelle's at the grocery and will be along shortly, so it's quick blog time.
Football season is over but that just means we're busy every weekend with something else. Tomorrow is a mandatory non-lazy Saturday at home, then Sunday features a trip to DC and back. We're really looking forward to a baby shower and the drive with new satellite radio. I'm not big on auto interior installs, but this week I undertook a disassembly of the Subaru's dashboard and installed a receiver, then took apart the overhead console to hook up the antenna. Now: XM. I wasn't sold on paying for a(nother) radio or the associated service, but we've listened for <20 minutes and it's already a massive improvement over the commercials and faux-animal noise logos on terrestrial radio. So long, Tom Ring at Brown-Daub Kia.
