Google has improved everyone's life with this cool NGram viewer of all words published in books since the 1500s. I've spent close to an hour doing informal little researches over the past few days and it's amazing to see the trends.
In other fancy web app news, the Times published all the census data about racial distribution in the country. Fascinating stuff; diversity has arrived in some places, been and gone in others, and still quite a long way off in the rest.
Last night was pretty straightforward: make French onion soup, watch "Indiana Jones," go to sleep. Today we're making cookies and heading to a Christmas party later...ahh the holidays.
