Oh sure, I had planned to blog over the weekend, but that didn't happen in
a whirlwind of Christmas shopping in Bethlehem, making cards, and
announcing our big baby news to the fb world.I'm woefully behind because last week was epic. Monday was in rural Ohio,
then dinner with Jacqueline in Lansing, which was cool. As I've always
said it's a real treat to have one-on-one time with relatives because
usually you see them with a crowd. The rest of the week was long, long
days at work in GR and a long Friday in EG. All that set up a lazy Friday
at home with pizza and Top Gear on DVR. (May: Oh Jeremy do please be
gentle with this. Clarkson: POWER!!!!)
Our Christmas party plans for Saturday evening were cancelled, so we spent
Saturday in Bethlehem and came home to make lasagna, go for a walk while it
baked, and watch the Big Chill at the Big House surpass the Michigan
Stadium attendance record we were part of back in September.
Sunday was pretty lazy but kinda fun because we told the world about our
great expectation. It's like telling 50 people at once and the
congratulations and funniness poured in. Social networking is fun.
Back on the road M-W this week, too, into the teeth of a midwestern
blizzard.
