'Twas the night before the night before departing for Christmas... and we're packing. Last night was the William Allen Christmas Celebration, which was a treat as always. Josh Fogerty was the soloist and did a fine job - a bit more subdued that Mssr. Rosario's rendition of "O Holy Night" last year.
The weekend was good but not ultimately as busy as we'd thought. Saturday night's festivities were wild and crazy, and I'd be lying if I said Sunday morning wasn't hindered somewhat by our late return home. Just as well: we read and lazed around the house and went for a walk down to Little Lehigh where we liberated a bumper from the creek. In the evening we went to Jenelle's co-Germany-chaperone Amanda and her husband Alec's for chicken chili dinner and some socializing. It was just what the doctor ordered and we left looking forward to similar future evenings.
