It's Monday, January 3rd, and I'm continuing a proud tradition (started by Gram) of not knowing when things start after break. It was, technically, a holiday down there at KNL but I headed in by mistake and am probably the better for it since I got a ton done and am ahead of the game going into this week's sprint to west Michigan.
Speaking of Gram, trouble in paradise as an apparent electrical short caused a fire in the engine room aboard VofJ in New Zealand. I'm sure we'll hear more from Gram when we see him next weekend in East Lyme.
It's a glorious sunny 2011 afternoon and I'm headed outside for some of the 90 minutes before I head to ABE.
